Deep in the Gobi Desert, the Mogao Caves near Dunhuang hold nearly a thousand years of Buddhist devotional art — painted across dynasties by generations of monks and artisans along the Silk Road. The murals inside are among the most significant surviving works of Buddhist art in the world, depicting celestial musicians, guardian deities, and scenes of devotion in vivid mineral pigments that have endured for centuries.

The Dunhuang Mythos design draws from this heritage — reinterpreting the color, motion, and symbolism of these murals into a modern silhouette. Every panel is designed as a tribute to the artistry of the original, not a copy of it — a bridge between ancient devotion and contemporary design.

This is history, worn with intention.
